 After egg retrieval:
Rest for the remainder of the day.
Do not drive or operate a vehicle of any kind until tomorrow.
Do not sign any legal documents or make any important decisions for the remainder of the day.
Do not drink any alcoholic beverages for the remainder of the day.
Eat lightly, toast, soup or cracker.
Drink plenty of clear liquids.
You may experience soreness or cramping. Use a heating pad and take Extra Strength Tylenol.
Do not take Ibuprofen.
You may have vaginal spotting.
Do not use tampons, douche, take a tub bath, use a hot tub or swim.
Take your temperature for the next two days.

 Call day or night if you experience:
Increasing pain not relieved by Tylenol.
Heavy vaginal bleeding.
Temperature over 100.5 F.
Nausea and vomiting or diarrhea.
Feeling light headed or dizzy.
Significant abdominal bloating.
Decreased urine output or concentrated urine.
